don't get the idea that i'm committing you to you again because i'm not...i cant...i mean it feels good but we both know this just isnt who i am anymore.

I am stranded in Atlanta for what could be days because of 'weather' problems. Want the full story? here goes...
i left orlando FL and landed in Atlanta around 2:15pm today. I was supposed to leave at 4pm but the incoming plane was late. Then the septic tank broke. then someone puked. Then weather issues delayed longer. then someone got unruly and had to be escorted off. then more weather issues. Then we taxi'd out at 8pm and were 2nd in line to leave and all flights were grounded. Flight cancelled.
it is 11:51pm. I have a seat on a 7:30am flight but i don't trust the agent that i actually have one because the other people asking for seats were being told nothing was available until thursday. Delta actually tried to charge me to fly on another carrier. They are a horrible company. It took them over an hour to clean up the bathroom whcih is why our flight started this downward spiral. the attendants were HORRIBLE on the plane and it took then nearly 45 minutes to board the plane because they could not keep people in their assigned seats. I mean seriously wtf people. Then they lied about the mechanical errors and refuse to give any compensation.
If i am in fact stuck here until thursday they will do nothing because it was due to 'weather.' Want to know the funny thing? 3, yes count them, 3 planes left atlanta and went to chicago after my flight. The last leaving at 10:15pm.
seriously...this is rediculous to hold me here for possibly days with no compensation because you (delta) cannot get your shit together.
omg i am tired but i'm affraid if i fall asleep someone will steal my clarinets/oboe/laptop/chinese food.
i have to poop and i'm scared of the toilets.
oh, my cell phone died and i seem to have packed the charger in the checked luggage (which i hope to god does not get lost). no stores have any other iphone chargers right now. i am just so damn the hell ass sleepy.

i've been inactive for basically my entire masters program on LJ for a few reasons.
1) LJ brought a lot of drama with ex's and frankly, i'm over that
2) just soooooo freakin busy
3) a lot has happened that i, for once in my life, did not feel comfortable sharing
I am really excited at what my future is holding and those of you have already messages me and gotten responses have a bit of a clue :) I'm happy to keep those in the loop that want to know where they can read my new blog and check in on me.
i grew up on LJ...from highschool to a master's program...but i'm ready for a new beginning.

I just gotta search up some more gear to go after. Switching to moonkin has been fun..but this weekend getting some new gear and drops (even if it was just a quest reward lol) has made the spec even more viable.
I was in AB and was able to out dps a 68 hunter that kept coming after by simply spamming him with wrath. yay new gear.

i've also been practicing quite a bit. I'm rather happy with my oboe playing especially. Competition comes up on october 19th, just after my birthday. My music isn't in the best shape, but I think it will be in stellar condition come the appropriate time.

my laptop is freaking out...gonna have to replace harddrive again, has a crack in screen that could potentially get worse. all that crazy stuff.
i guess i'd liek to keep the laptop for notes in school, even though i'm in my last year for a while. hmmm...decisions

| well my journal seems to be getting a lot more action lately. all be it mostly trivial. thats ok.
tonight I need to run a few things for my Jury tomorrow. That should go alright. Mostly going to go over excerpts tonight. I hope I actually get asked to play them. I guess the preparation is what is important, but I could totally prepare things for the general future later this week AFTER I give my huge semester presentation on wednesday.

damnit that pisses me off
i wish i had more time for saxophone, but between clarinet and oboe lessons, plus band and quartet, and a the academic work, i barely get to saxophone for more than 2 hours a day. thats so sad. i guess i should try to remember i'm doing the multiple woodwind degree to expand my teaching ability, not my performing ability, but i still want to be a performance major. Thats why I want to do an artist diploma after this degree. stay focused.

i have a huge research paper due wednesday, but that sure as heck has not stopped me from checking my wii out a bit.
Red Steel is more than I had hoped for, though a bit rough on my ability since I've always sucked so bad at that type of game. In RE4 I got the CRAP kicked out of me in the first stage. Sad but true.
Zelda is so awesome. its more than I had hoped for indeed. I'm going to have a blast with it this weekend.

my nintendo Wii situation is getting all screwy
i didnt realize that doing a show until 10pm would put me in this situation. i was hoping the stores around here would be getting more than 20 units...
so it looks like i'm gonna have to wait a bit to get my wii since i wont be out of my show until after 10pm. there are a lot of 24 hour walmarts around here. most of them have lines of 10-15 people....but by the time 10pm comes around i'ms ure all the 20ish units will be alloted for at each store.
i've got one store thats doing a 6am sale that I think i might get in (since they have the most units out of any store i've contacted so far and have no line yet....)
outside of that though, i think it might be good for me to finish my paper before i go get my wii

i'm thinking maybe i should postpone the saxophone tattoo for my 2nd or 3rd one.
